Christos Volos

Biography

Dr Christos Volos was born in Athens in 1975 and he is married with two children.

He received his Physics Diploma, his M.Sc. in Electronics and his Ph.D. in Chaotic Electronics in 1999, 2002 and 2008, respectively; all from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He has worked, from 2004 to 2014, as a temporary Scientific Associate at the Technological Educational Institutes of Thessaloniki and Serres and as a Scientific Associate at the Laboratory of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Hellenic Army Academy.

He currently works as an Associate Professor in the Physics Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

His research interests include, among others, the design of analog and mixed-signal electronic circuits, chaotic electronics and their applications (secure communications, cryptography, robotics), experimental chaotic synchronization, chaotic UWB communications as well as, measurement and instrumentation systems. Dr. Volos has authored or co-authored more than 80 book chapters as well as journal and conference papers. He has participated, as a researcher, in several (Greek-) national and international (EU) funded projects.
