Akif Akgul

Wang Zhen, associate professor, head of the School of Sciences, graduated from a graduate program of control theory at Shaanxi University of Science and Technology. He is also a council member of Shaanxi Association of Industry and Applied Mathematics. His research interests are in ordinary differential equations and dynamical systems, matrix theory and its calculation, and theory of nonlinear control systems. He did research at Sichuan University as a visiting scholar in 2013, and was exceptionally promoted to the position of associate professor in 2014. In recent years, he published more than 50 research papers in the journals, NONLINEAR DYNAMICS,APPLIED MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTATION,KYBERNETIKA,TURKISH JOURNAL OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING & COMPUTER SCIENCES, ANALYSIS IN THEORY AND APPLICATION,《物理学报》,《控制理论与应用》，《计算机工程与科学》，《动力学与控制学报》，and《数学的实践与认识》，and at conferences, of which more than 20 have been included in SCI，and EI，and more than ten have been reviewed in MR. He has participated in more than ten international conferences，and has undertaken 18 research projects, and one teaching reform project.

In 2010，2012，and 2015, he was elected an excellent teacher at Xijing University. In 2013, he was elected a champion at teaching. From 2011 to 2015, he directed students to participate in the Higher Education Cup and EMCM national college students’ contests of mathematic modeling, in which students won two second place national prizes and six second place provincial prizes. He has won four academic prizes at provincial level, and one prize at the university.
