Payam Sadeghi
Biography
Nice to e-meet you! I’m Payam
I was born in Tabriz, Iran, in 1995. I received my BSc degree in biomedical engineering from Tehran Polytechnic. I earned my MSc degree in bioinformatics from the Polytechnic University of Milan and now I’m researcher at bioengineering lab at ETH Zurich. My research combines computational neuroscience, and neural engineering to improve electrophysiological techniques in neuroscience. I’m particularly interested in advanced recording and stimulation modalities to probe neural activity, in biophysically detailed computational models of neurons, and large-scale analysis of electrophysiology recordings (especially spike sorting!).
