Jalal khouhak

My name is jalal khouhak. I am originally from Booshehr, a small city in the southern part of Iran. I started my post secondary studies as an undergraduate student in the department of biomedical engineering at amirkabir university of technology. After finishing my B.Sc studies, I commenced my M.Sc. studies at AUT as well. During my M.Sc program, I worked on mathematical modeling of nephron-the unit function- in the kidney under the supervision of Prof. Jafari. We worked on a nonlinear model of the nephron composed of a system of six coupled differential equations and we could publish two papers Right now, I am a PhD candidate in the department of mathematics at the university of british columbia (since sep. 2020). My research interests are computational biology, mathematical modeling, and Optimization and its application in biological models.
