Leslie Samuel Smith

As of 3rd October 2018, He became an Emeritus Professor: what does that mean? While officially retired, He retain space within the University, and remain actively involved in research. He is a member of the Data Science Research Group. My own primary interests are in early auditory processing, spike-based computing and computational neuroscience. He was joint leader of the Artificial Intelligence (with Prof Emma Hart, of Napier University) theme of the Scottish Informatics and Computer Science Alliance (SICSA), but have now stood down from this position.
